Week 15 - Pardon the dust - Sept. 13, 2010

The Drunken Drow, the venue for the live event that this podacst is a recording of, has been undergoing some radical remodeling this week and the dust got into the equipment. This not only made it difficult for us to get the recording started, but it knocked us offline for a short while due to crashing equipment. But we got things restarted and all but the beginning of the first song is included in this week's podcast.

So far none of you fine people have submitted any requests, but I keep hoping that one day I'll log into the blog (http://AelvenAetherics.blogspot.com) and find a request waiting in the comments of the latest podcast.

It has come to my attention that there may be some confusion about the music I play for Aelven Aetherics. While it is true that I focus on steampunk music, this IS in the elvenlands in Second Life, so I mix in a little appropriate music for the region and, in addition, I pull in pieces from other styles that I think fit the mood and feel. Making it a bit of a mix of steampunk, Celtic, dieselpunk and a few other things tossed in for flavor. Please do take the time to let me know what you think of my compilations.
